Dog Care Tips

December 26, 2007 / by nabeelhashmi

A dog is a big responsibility to care for. If your dog is a male you might want to get it neutered. If its a female you might want it to get it speyed if you dont want it to have puppies. you can get your dog fixed at the vetinarian. Most dogs enjoy going for walks so buy it a dog leash. Dogs also enjoy to go for runs in the park, but make sure it is trained so it doesnt go biting people. You could buy dog toys for your dog. You can get toy bones, rope and balls and lots more. A dog should get two to three meals a day.You might want to buy dog rolls, jelly meat, raw meat and dog biscuits. If you are going to train a dog you should give it a chewbone as a treat. Dogs also need a bath. You should buy a kennel for your dog. You could build your own kennel if you want but make sure its water proof. You could chain your dog up or you could make sure it doesnt jump over the fence. If your dog jumps the fence and escapes then the pound might take it away but you can go and pick it up. Keep dogs away from cats just in case the dog attacks them. Give the dog a bowl of water outside so it doesnt go thirsty. At night time before the dog goes to bed give him or her a dog biscuit or a chew bone. a dog will want a name you could call it any name you want to. Put a collar on the dog for when you go for walks. A dog needs to be brushed every now and again, this keeps the fluff away. Make sure the dog doesnt jump on the couch and the bed if you dont want to get fluff every where. You can train your dog to be obediant and to obey your commands you give the dog buy first making him stay in his basket until you let him out. When the dog does one of your commands give it lots of praise. a dog needs mare attention then a cat so when you are on holiday give your dog to a friend or a home to be looked after.A dog is such a loving responsibility.
